Nowadays, it is very common to see the commercial LED display in many places, for instance, plaza, park, airport, shopping center, building, etc.
Commercial LED Display P6 Screen Project:
This project was finished in 2017 in New Zealand. There are 2 unit screens, with back to back installation.
These two outdoor display boards are P6 SMD type. For each commercial LED display size, it is W 6.144 x H 3.072 meters. This LED screen size is commonly ordered for outdoor LED advertising. The total definition per LED advertising board is W 1024 x H 512 pixels.
The LED lamp adopted is the Nationstar brand, with high stability. It is SMD2727. Each P6 outdoor LED module is W 192 x H 192 mm, with W 32 x H 32 dots. For this commercial LED display, the LED panel P6 is W 768 x H 768 mm, with W 128 x H 128 dots. The panel is an iron waterproof cabinet with a back door, about 23 kg/pc. It is composed of W 8 x H 4 pcs LED panels for this P6 outdoor LED screen.
Each LED panel of this P6 outdoor commercial LED display is equipped with 16 pcs LED modules, 1 pc Meanwell RSP-320-5 power supply, 1 pc Novastar receiving card. Besides, Linko power and signal connectors are used for easy connection during the installation. For the control system, a video processor is used to get input signals like HDMI, DVI, VGA, etc.
The brightness of this P6 commercial LED display is about 6,500 nits. In order to reduce light pollution and keep the life span of the LED lights, brightness sensors are added to these 2 units’ LED screens. And the cable is 20 meters long. Besides, multifunctional cards are equipped inside power distribution boxes, with each one 30 KW. And an OBO brand lightning arrester is equipped inside each power box.
Before the package and delivery, these 2 commercial LED displays were aging and testing for about 10 days. During the aging, it was in all white, red, green, blue colors, static images, videos in turn. This is to make sure some minor problems like cold soldering of LED lamps or drive ICs could come out and be solved here. This is a standard aging and testing process. Besides, each LED panel P6 was inspected carefully inside and outside, making sure the cables connection neatly, adding screw fixing agents on the screws to prevent cables from loosening during the long transportation, checking the waterproof glue around the location pins on the cabinets, etc.
4 pcs LED panels were packed inside 1 pc plywood case for this commercial LED display. Inside the case, it is EPE foam to protect the LED panels from damage.
